The excitement for Twilight’s sequel, New Moon is just going to continue to build. The latest news on Dakota joining the cast just adds to the hype: Well, it’s obvious that Dakota Fanning is a done deal. All we need now is the signing of the papers. Yay! I think she will be perfect for this hot flick!

Beanie Babies maker Ty has launched two new dolls for their TyGirlz Collection—”Sweet Sasha” and “Marvelous Malia.” Sound familiar?It should, given that Sasha, 7, and Malia, 10, are our nation’s new first daughters and they are both, well, sweet and marvelous.They’re such adorable girls. How can we resist?” Ty spokeswoman Tania Lundeen told the Chicago Sun-Times. But Lundeen also insists the $10 dolls are not replicas of the Obama girls.
No word on how President Barack Obama or first lady Michelle Obama feel about their girls getting all dolled-up.
“We certainly hope they like them,” Lundeen says.
We do, too, but we’re a little concerned with the company the plush Sasha and Malia are keeping. The TyGirlz Collection also includes Bubbly Britney, Lucky Lindsay and Precious Paris.
The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Bow Wow are set to perform at the Kids’ Inaugural Concert to honor military families on Jan. 19 in Washington D.C, the Presidential Inaugural Committee announced Tuesday.
“We are honored and excited to have such top-level talent performing and producing these events,” Emmett S. Beliveau, Executive Director of the PIC, said in a statement. “Working with ABC and Disney, we are bringing these exciting performances into the homes of millions of Americans to make this the most open and accessible inauguration celebration ever.”
The concert will air on the Disney Channel at 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19. It’ll be hosted by future First Lady Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, wife of Vice-President-elect Joe Biden.
The following night, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Jay-Z, Faith Hill, Alicia Keys, Shakira and Stevie Wonder (President-elect Barack Obama’s “musical hero”) will hit the stage at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball. The live event, which will include the President and first lady’s first dance of the night, will air live on ABC on Jan. 20 at 8 pm.

The first music video ‘Let’s Get Crazy’ from Miley Cyrus‘ Hannah Montana The Movie will debut on Disney Channel at 8 PM on Monday, January 19 along with the official trailer.
The video’s debut will be introduced by Miley herself and will lead into the Kids’ Inaugural: We Are The Future special telecast, which also stars one of Malia & Sasha Obama’s favorite band the Jonas Brothers.
The boys’ new music video ‘Tonight’ will also make its debut before the concert along with scenes from the upcoming Jonas Brothers The 3D Concert Experience, plus backstage moments in the video.
Hayden Panettiere Kicked Out of Night Club

Hayden Panettiere was kicked out of a New York State nightclub last month, and she then called the cops when bouncers refused to return her license!
The Heroes starlet was at a 21+ venue when the security staff spotted her and questioned her. When they learned she was only 19, they escorted her out of the club.
But TMZ says that Hayden was furious when the bouncer refused to return her identification and called police. They arrived on the scene and got her card back!

Spectacular! Soundtrack & Movie Coming Soon!

The soundtrack for Spectacular! is set to release on February 3rd, 2009! The album, released by Columbia Records
and Nickelodeon, will feature 10 original songs including digital singles for Everything Can Change and Don’t Tell Me.
Spectacular! itself will premiere on February 16th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Nickelodeon.
The movie stars Nolan Gerard Funk, Tammin Sursok, and Victoria Justice in a movie where “the worlds of rock ‘n’ roll and show choir collide, resulting in romance, rivalry and show-stopping performance.”

The Second Twilight Movie Will Stay True to the Book

Moviemaker Chris Weitz has promised to stay true to the original story while shooting the sequel to hit vampire film Twilight – because he doesn’t want to enrage loyal fans.
The director was taken on to helm New Moon, the follow up to the bloodsucking blockbuster, in place of Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke.
And Stephenie Meyer, who wrote the Twilight series of books, insists there is no need for fans to turn on Weitz with “torches and pitchforks” because he will not be changing the plot.
Writing on her official website, she tells fans: “I’ve had the chance to talk to Chris, and I can tell you that he is excited by the story and eager to keep the movie as close to the book as possible.
“He is also very aware of you, the fans, and wants to keep you all extremely happy. (Torches and pitchforks are not going to be necessary).”
She adds: “I’m excited to work with Chris and I think he brings a lot to the table… I’m really looking forward to seeing his vision for New Moon.”
And Weitz confirms his intentions: “I will devote myself to making the very best and most faithful version of New Moon that can be brought to the screen.”
